Terms

Effective October 11, 2026

These terms cover your use of passiv.app, the Passiv waitlist and its referral program. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. The Passiv app will have its own terms of service when the paid beta opens, and those will cover the product itself.

The site is run by Passiv Solutions LLC, an Illinois company, 3115 Tall Grass Drive, Naperville, IL, USA. Contact us at legal@passiv.app.

The waitlist

  • Joining is free. Your spot is confirmed once you click the link we email you.
  • Joining doesn't guarantee access by a certain date or on certain terms. We'll open spots as the beta grows.
  • Pricing for the paid beta hasn't been announced yet. We'll share it before you're asked to pay anything.
  • You can leave at any time from any waitlist email or your waitlist dashboard.

The referral program

  • Each person who joins the waitlist with your referral link and confirms their email counts as one referral and earns you 10 points.
  • 3 referrals earn you 1 month free. 10 referrals earn you 2 months free in total. The rewards don't stack.
  • Free months apply to your first paid Passiv plan once the paid beta opens. They have no cash value and can't be transferred or sold.
  • Referring yourself, using fake or throwaway addresses, or getting referrals through spam or by paying people doesn't count. We may remove referrals, points or rewards that break these rules, and remove accounts that abuse the program.
  • Only share your link with people who'd welcome it, and follow anti-spam laws when you do.
  • The leaderboard is for fun. It ranks people by points, ties go to whoever reached the score first, and people show as their coaching type unless they choose to show their first name and last initial.
  • We may change or end the program. If we do, rewards you've already earned stay yours.

Using the site

  • Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the site or the waitlist, and don't use bots to sign up.
  • The site's content, design, logo and the Passiv guide character belong to Passiv Solutions LLC. Facts and figures we cite belong to their sources, which we link.
  • Information on the site is general. It isn't legal, financial or business advice.

No warranties and limits on liability

The site and the waitlist are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Passiv Solutions LLC won't be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or the waitlist, and our total liability for anything related to them is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you live in a country with consumer protection rules that say otherwise, those rules still apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and email the waitlist about anything significant before it takes effect.
